After searching for inspiration for so long, I felt a sense of relief to finally find a place that felt right. I hadn’t expected to find it there, but somehow it was exactly what I needed.

I hadn’t painted for a while. My friend Hannah suggested a trip to Adelaide and I decided to go. It was an unplanned solo adventure filled with unexpected discoveries. One of those discoveries was the Palm House at the Adelaide Botanic Garden. I remember seeing it for the first time and thinking, “This is it. This is what I’ve been looking for.”
