Holding Space

$2,250.00

Holding Space is an act of patience, presence, and care. It’s not always easy, our nervous systems urge us to fill the void, escape silence, or smooth over discomfort. Yet when we hold space for someone, we offer them the freedom to simply be, without interruption, without expectation.

It’s a gift that allows their unspoken parts to surface without judgment.

This triptych surrounds the viewer in that same quiet space. Inspired by a solo night walk along Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra, I embraced stillness and raw expression through dark tones and rough brushstrokes that capture both unease and quiet power of holding space.
