Inspired by the ephemeral blooms of wisteria, lasting only a few weeks before being swept away by the wind, this piece reflects the delicate and transient nature of life. Painted to Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful, it holds a quiet longing for love, for time, for what can’t be held onto.

During a contemporary dance class, Taku's We Were In Love provided powerful and intricate instrumentals that guided my brushstrokes, infusing the work with strength and allure. Later, Bích Phương's Chưa Từng Thuộc Về Nhau inspired glistening and oozing elements, connected to the distant and unclaimed love in her music.

Wistful Shadows is a journey through these emotions, capturing beauty, loss, and the impermanence of life's most treasured moments.
